St Andrews Festival and Christmas Gift Inspiration 2012 Plus FREE ENTRY

Monday 26 November until Saturday 01 December

Come in from the cold this winter and find inspirational Christmas gifts at the British Golf Museum shop with FREE ENTRY from 26 November until 01 December for St Andrews Festival.

Supporting Scottish craftspeople and small companies, we have mugs by Elspeth Gardner and quirky items by Stuart Ceramics, handmade Harris tweed goods by Bertie Girl and much more. There are beautiful scarves and ladies' shawls, as well as prints, books and the usual golf gifts to suit any golf enthusiast.

On St Andrews Day, Friday 30 November, The Royal and Ancient Golf Clubhouse will be open to the public from 10 am until 5 pm, and guides will be on hand to answer questions about the Clubhouse and its collections.  The Museum is also extending its opening hours until 5 pm on Friday 30 November.

On Saturday 1 December, come along to the museum for our Mini Tasting Session.  From 2 pm until 4 pm, Luvians Bottle Shop and The Guid Cheese Shop will be here and you can sample their tasty wares in time for Christmas.  Local handcrafted jewellery and knitwear by Barbara Fleming, who will also be here to chat about her work, will also be on sale.

There will be children’s Christmas craft sessions held throughout the day on Saturday 1 December too, so bring your little ones along for some creative fun.

If you are in St Andrews over the festive break and looking for something to entertain all the family, be sure to visit the British Golf Museum!
